| The annual Ladies Night banquet was held on April 20th, 2013 at the Potsdam Elks Lodge. There were over 125 members and guests in attendance. After dinner, several awards were presented. Pins for 5,10, 15 and 20 years were given out. Cited for 25 years of service were: Mark Bradish, David McGregor, Mike Jerome Jr, Walter McLennan and Doug McGregor. Jim Corbett, Bob Farnsworth, Joe Gallagher and Bob Robar were cited for 35 Years of Service. The Chiefs Award was given to Dan Callahan. The "Springarm" Award to John Keleher. The "Agitator Award" to Mark Bradish. Numerous citations were given to members who exceeded 300 hours of service this past year. The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the 2012 Fireman of the Year Award. This years honoree is Firefighter William Enslow, a 20 year member. Appreciation plaques were also presented to Potsdam Police Chief Kevin Bates, and to Roxy theater owner Jeff Szot for their outstanding cooperation with and service to the Potsdam Fire Department. We would also like to thank the members of the Canton Fire Dept. for providing a standby crew at PFD, so we could enjoy the night out. Thanks Guys. |
