Potsdam Firefighters Pay Respect to Fallen Firefighters

The members of the Potsdam Fire Department recently took part in the placement of the Firefighters Memorial flag on deceased member’s graves. The Firefighters’ Memorial Flag is intended to serve as a visual expression of the gratitude that all citizens of Potsdam have for the public service provided by each fallen firefighter. The flag also provides a public recognition of the dedication and sacrifice that each fallen firefighter has provided to the citizens of St. Lawrence County.

A special thank you to members Mike Jerome and William Enslow for always going above and beyond what is asked of them for our annual memorial flag placement.

If the community has any question or has a loved one that was laid to rest in the area, who was a firefighter and would like a flag placed on their grave, please call (315)265-4397.
