On Wednesday September 27 at approximately 1423 hrs, West Stockholm Fire, Potsdam Fire and Potsdam Rescue were dispatched to 188 Benton Road for a report of fire in the woods. The caller stated that the fire was located in the same location as West Stockholm Fire was previously dispatched to a few days earlier for the similar fire..

Engine 80, Rescue 30 and Tanker 100 responded to the scene.

The fire was contained to approximately an acre of hardwoods.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this time.
