On November 14, 2017, at approximately 7:21PM, Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue and County Car 7 were dispatched to a personal injury accident in the vicinity of 6872 U.S. Highway 11.

Engine 80 and Rescue 14 were out of service moments later.

Upon arrival of Potsdam 36-1 (Chief Rose), it was determined that the accident was at the intersection of the Wright Road and County Route 35, no extrication was needed and that there were two patients that needed to be evaluated by Potsdam Rescue.

Potsdam Fire members provided traffic control unit the vehicles could be removed from the roadway. One patient was transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital while the other patient refused any further medical attention.
