|High Winds and Wintry Mix Made for a Long Afternoon for Potsdam Fire Members|

On April 4, 2018 at approximately 2:00PM, Potsdam Fire Department members began what turned into a busy evening of answering calls. With the high winds and wintry mix, came numerous calls of service.
The members responded to 35 calls for service. The calls varied from downed trees, motor vehicle accidents, utility poles and lines down, and traffic hazards (traffic control lights out). M
All units were back in service at 7:38PM. Members staffed the station until St. Lawrence County Emergency Services released the standby crew at 10PM.
