On June 15, 2018, at 5:30PM, Potsdam Fire and Rescue were dispatched the vicinity of US Highway 11 and the Potsdam-Morley Road for a report of a two car motor vehicle accident with injuries.

Engine 49 responded along with 12 members.

Upon arrival it was determined that one vehicle was traveling North on US 11 and was stopped to turn left onto the Potsdam-Morley Road, the second vehicle was also traveling North on US 11 and struck the turning vehicle from behind when they failed to stop for the turning vehicle.

Potsdam members provided traffic control until the vehicles could be removed from the road way.

Two occupants of the second vehicle were transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Potsdam Rescue.

The vehicles were removed from the scene by Johnson Towing.
