On April 26th 2019 at 2117 hours, Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and County Car 7 was dispatched to a report of two car motor vehicle accident with one female with a neck injury. At 2120 hours, Potsdam Fire Rescue 14 (M. Maroney) with a crew of 4 and Engine 80 (S. Corbett) responded and arrived on scene at 2124 hours.

On scene, Potsdam Fire 36-4 (J. Perry) and 36-1 (T. Jerome) arrived and 36-4 assumed command. Both vehicles were located on the roadside. Potsdam Fire assisted Potsdam Rescue and provided traffic control for the New York State Police. One patient was transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Potsdam Rescue. The accident was still under investigation at the time of the call.
