On Tuesday May 21st 2019 at 2027 hours, the Potsdam Fire Department was requested by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department for traffic control at 6890 US Highway 11 as a tractor-trailer had it's load shift where it crushed the back of it's sleeper cab. At 2030 hours, Potsdam Fire Engine 80 (S. Corbett) responded and arrived on scene at 2036 hours.

On scene, Engine 80 provided scene lighting and members provided traffic control. Firefighters remained on scene until the tractor trailer was removed by Route 11 Trucking. Potsdam Fire was back in service at 2325 hours.
