On Friday, August 9th 2019 at 1559 hours, Potsdam Fire, Rescue, and County Car 7 were dispatched to Maple Street and Island Street for a personal injury motor vehicle accident. At alarm time, Potsdam Fire Engine 49 (C. Locy) responded and arrived at 1600 hours.

It was found a vehicle failed to yield right of way when entering the roadway on Maple Street and collided with the other vehicle. Firefighters provided traffic control and cleaned up roadway debris. The vehicles were both removed by Johnson's Towing. Potsdam Fire was back in service at 1627 hours.
