The Postdam Fire Department responded for a personal injury motor vehicle accident at 1143 hours today at the intersection of Market and Elderkin Streets. Engine 49, operated by Fire Driver Robert Crowe arrived on scene at 1145 hours to find two vehicles heavily damages and all victims out of the vehicles. Members assisted PPD with traffic control and cleaned up the debris while keeping traffic moving on Market Street during the busy noon hour. One patient was transported by Potsdam Rescue to Canton-Potsdam Hospital. All units were back in service at 1230 hours.
