At 0814 hours the tones dropped for a mutual aid call to West Potsdam Fire for a two car MVA with injuries on USH 11 in front of Grant's Gas and Grocery. Initial reports were one vehicle rolled over with possible serious injuries. West Potsdam Chief Bob Pierce established command and requested that Canton Rescue also be dispatched, along with the two ambulances needed from Potsdam Rescue. Rescue 14 responded at 0815 hours and arrived on scene within 5 minutes. Two of the three patients self extricated and the third did not require any specialized extrication. All patients were transported by Potsdam Rescue to Canton Potsdam Hospital. All Potsdam Fire units were placed back in service at 0906 hours.
