SeaComm Federal Credit Union presented a $500 check to Chief David McGregor from their Local Donations Fund. This money will be used toward the purchase of the new set of air bags, which are capable of lifting large vehicles such as tractor trailers and busses off entrapped victims. This is the first time that Potsdam Fire has owned air bags, and they will provide members with additional tools to perform rescues in situations where victims are trapped by vehicles, machinery, or building collapses. The Potsdam Fire Department is extremely grateful to SeaComm for their continued support of our activities.
