| The annual review of the Potsdam Vol. Fire Dept. was held on Saturday, July 10th. The annual photo of the Dept. was taken, followed by a community parade from Elm to Market to Main Street. Following the parade the "Run to the River" was held. This event is required by our charter to provide Village officials and residents an opportunity to see the state of the Dept. equipment. This years friendly competition was won by Hose Company #2, manning Engine 48, followed by Engine 80 and TA-100, and Engine 49. We would like to thank the members of our neighboring departments for acting as impartial timing judges for the run, as well as the over 1000 people who were downtown to watch the parade and run. |
