On March 24, 2014 at approximately 8:41am, the Potsdam Fire Department was activated to respond to 7052 US Highway 11 for a report of a two car, property damage accident. Engine 80 was out of service shortly after dispatch.

Upon arrival Potsdam Assistant Chief Danielle Rose advised Engine 80 that traffic control would be needed along with removal of debris from the roadway. No one was injured and everyone was out of the vehicles upon arrival.

Potsdam Fire provided traffic control for State Police until the vehicles could be removed from the scene. All units were back in service at 9:39am.
