Potsdam Fire and County Car 7 were dispatched at 2210 hours to a report of a house with some type of electrical problem at 7734 US Highway Route 11. Engine 80 (J. Corbett), Rescue 14 (Andrus), and Tanker 100 (McLennan) were enroute at 2215 hours and arrived on scene three minutes later. Chief Justin Perry along with several members investigated to determine the cause of the electrical issues. FD personnel turned off the main disconnect in the house and National Grid responded to pull the electric meter. It was found that shorting and arching in the electrical fuse box was the cause. All units were back in service at 2315 hours.
