Saturday Morning Calls for Potsdam Fire

Central Dispatch toned out Potsdam Fire, Rescue, and County Car 7 to a report of a possible structure fire at 199 Sinclair Road at 0133 hours. Parishville Fire and County Car 36 was then dispatched as the call was in Parishville's Fire District. Engine 80 (J. Corbett) was enroute at 0142 hours with a full crew on board. 33-1 (Chief Cool) advised Central Dispatch the call address was in Parishville's District but advised Potsdam Fire to continue. 33-5 advised at 0147 hours that it was a furnace malfunction and 33-1 then advised Potsdam Fire to stand down. Potsdam Fire was back in service at 0147 hours.
Potsdam Fire then was requested by West Stockholm's 47-1 to stand by at Potsdam Station at 0329 hours. West Stockholm fire responded mutual aid to Brasher Winthrop's District at 721 McCarthy Road, for a structure fire. Potsdam Fire was back service at 0638 hours.
