The annual Ladies Night banquet was held on Saturday 4/18 at the Elks Lodge. Chief J. Perry welcomed over 100 members and guests. Master of Ceremonies Jim Mason entertained everyone with numerous stories. After dinner, numerous members were recognized for their service to the Dept. Tom McGregor for 40 years, Jim Mason for 35 years, Audie Jerome for 30 years and Conor Corbett and Tim Keleher for 10 years. Mark Maroney was given the Chiefs award. Rian McFadden was selected "Rookie of The Year".
Mark Bradish was honored as fireman of the year. Several others were given certificates of appreciation for providing over 300 hours of service to the Dept. in the past year. The Potsdam Volunteer Fire Dept. answered over 500 calls this past year, totaling over 7000 man-hours volunteered to the citizens of Potsdam
