On July 6, 2015, at approximately 9:40am, Potsdam Fire was requested by Parishville Fire 33-1 to standby at Potsdam Station with a crew. At that time Parishville Fire was enroute to 3377 US Highway 11B mutal aid to Nicholville Fire for a report of a house fire. Potsdam Fire had a crew on standby immediately.

At 10:58am Potsdam Fire was requested by the Incident Command at the fire scene of 3377 US Highway 11B to the respond to the scene with manpower. Rescue 30 and Rescue 14 responded with interior firefighters.

Due to the extreme heat and humidity many firefighters were getting exhausted quickly and the risk of dehydration and heat stroke were a major factor. Firefighters were used on short tasks and sent right to rehab to drink water, sit in the shade, and take their turnout gear off. EMTs were on scene taking vitals before firefighters performed their tasks and again after they had completed their assignments.

At 12:15 Incident Command at the 11B fire requested Potsdam Tower 5 to respond to the scene to perform overhaul and extinguishment on areas of the house that had become too dangerous and structurally unsound for firefighters to operate in. Tower 5 responded immediately.

Nicholville, Lawrenceville, North Lawrence, Parishville, Dickenson, St. Regis Falls, Potsdam, Hopkinton Fort Jackson and Brasher Winthrop Fire Departments responded to the fire scene.

All units were back in service from the fire at 15:50.

While at the scene, Parishville Fire & Rescue were dispatched to the intersection of State Highway 72 and County Route 58 for a three car personal injury accident at 12:09. Parishville 33-1 directed Potsdam Fire's Rescue 14 to leave the fire scene in Nicholville and respond to the accident in Parishville. Rescue 14 responded immediately with a crew.

Units ariver to findicate twould pa tints requiring care. One with facial injuries from the airbags, chest pain and abdomen pain. The second patient had a laceration to the head. Parishville Rescue transported one patient, Potsdam Rescue transported the second patient and Tri-Town Rescue stood by. Parishville E-50 directed traffic while Potsdam Rescue 14 provided adistance to the EMS crews. Potsdam Engine 80 cleaned up the debris from the vehicles and contained the antifreeze and battery acid that was leaking from the vehicles.

All units were back in service from the Motor Vehicle Accident at 13:30.
