Members Keep Busy Over The Last 72 Hours

The members of the Potsdam Fire Department have been keeping busy the last three days!

9/30/15 at 11:28am- Fire alarm at 59 Market Street in the village.

9/30/15 at 12:43pm- House fire with possible entrapment. Fire was contained to basement area. Tenant was out of the building prior to firefighter’s arrival.

9/30/15 at 15:51- Vehicle fire located at SUNY Potsdam Crane loading dock area. Fire was contained to the engine compartment.

9/30/15 at 22:38- Fire alarm activation at Woodstock Building Two on Clarkson Campus. Burnt food was the cause.

10/1/15 at 1:42am- Fire alarm activation at SUNY Potsdam’s Performing Arts Building. Faulty detector was the cause.

10/1/15 at 2:40am- Fire alarm activation at 1 Maple Street (Evans and White Hardware). Faulty detector was the cause.

10/2/2015 at 21:23- Fire alarm at SUNY Potsdam Townhouse Complex. Burnt food was the cause.

10/2/15 at 4:29am- Fire alarm at 1 Maple Street (Evans and White Hardware). Faulty detector was the cause.

10/2/2015 at 5:55am- Motor vehicle accident at 317 South Canton Road. Vehicle was reported to have struck multiple trees before coming to a rest off the roadway. Firefighters had to cut multiple trees before they could get the subject out of the vehicle. The subject was checked by Potsdam Rescue and released.

10/2/2015 at 9:13- Fire alarm activation at Clarkson University Woodstock Building Four. Burnt food was the cause.

10/2/15 at 10:36- Fire alarm at Clarkson University Woodstock Building Six. Burnt food was the cause.

10/2/15 at 14:36- Fire alarm activation at SUNY Potsdam’s Townhouse Complex. Burnt food was the cause.
