The Potsdam Fire Department recently received a donation of 3 Wag'n O2 Fur Life pet oxygen mask kits. The kits were donated by Kay, Jim, and Snoopy Hassett. Losing a pet due to a house fire can be a devastating experience. The donated kits give firefighters a chance at saving those pets that we may be able to rescue during a fire. These specially-designed pet oxygen masks can be used both on conscious pets that have suffered from smoke inhalation and pets that need to be resuscitated after losing consciousness from exposure to the dangerous toxic fumes. The Potsdam Fire Department would like to thank the Hassett familiy for their donation and giving us the tools to further aid our 4 legged victims.
