On September 21, 2016 at approximately 6:48pm, Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue and Car 7 were dispatched to the intersection of Maple Street and the entrance to Clarkson University by the baseball field for a two car motor vehicle accident. Engine 49 and Rescue 14 were out of service at the time of the page.

Upon arrival members found that the accident was located on the auto-bond on Clarkson University campus. One of the vehicles was on its side and the occupant was self- extracting himself from the vehicle. The occupant of the second vehicle involved was already out of their vehicle upon arrival. Potsdam Fire Department members quickly stabilized the vehicle that was on its side so the occupant could get out safely.

No occupants were transported by Potsdam Rescue.
