Mutual Aid to Hannawa Falls For Structure Fire

Potsdam Fire was alerted at 0515 hours to respond to 70 Riggs Drive, mutual aid to Hannawa Falls, for a reported structure fire with persons trapped. Engine 80 (S.Corbett), tanker 100 (M. Bradish), and Rescue 14 (J. Keleher) responded along with 14 members. As the fire took hold of the mutli-unit apartment building, a request was made for Engine 48 to respond to Hannawa Fire Station and establish a second draft site to fill tankers. Fire Driver Bob Crowe responded with Engine 48 at 0600 hours with oncoming Fire Driver Bob Pierce manning Potsdam Station. All Potsdam units were back in service at 1116 hours.
