The members of the Potsdam Fire Department would like to thank the Potsdam McDonalds for the hospitality for family fun night on Tuesday, October 17th. Members were able to pass on life saving fire safety tips to approximately 40 children and their parents and grandparents.

The Potsdam members and McDonalds staff also participated in coloring activities about fire safety, decorated cookies, ate dinner, and played on the fire trucks with the children. Children also left with goodie bags containing a fire safety calendar for the year, stickers, pencils, a glow in the dark bracelet, and a fire helmet!

Once again thank you to our community for taking the time to bring your children to events like this. We enjoy getting to spend time with your children and letting them put a face with a person if you should ever have to call the fire department for help.
