| Potsdam Firefighters were alerted by St. Lawrence County Central Dispatch to the scene of a two car personal injury motor vehicle accident on the Hatch Road in the Town of Potsdam. Upon arrival, all occupants were out of the vehicle. Potsdam Rescue Squad transported one patient with minor injuries to Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Potsdam Fire Captain Robert Farnsworth, Sr., a New York State certified Fire Policeman, supervised traffic control at the intersection of the Hatch Road and US Highway 11B until the accident investigation concluded and the vehicles were removed from the scene. Potsdam Police Officer and Past Fire Chief James Mason held the scene, just outside the Village of Potsdam limits, until the arrival of the New York State Police. |
