With the NYS burn ban lifted, The Potsdam Fire Department would like to remind resident's that open burning in the Village is still prohibited. Village of Potsdam Code regarding open burning is attached. Open burning in the Town of Potsdam is allowed with a permit. To obtain a permit, one of the Town Fire Wardens must be contacted.
