Mutual Aid to Parishville for Garage Fire

On Friday, January 31st 2020, Parishville Fire and Rescue were dispatched to respond to a fully involved garage fire at 489 Sterling Pond Road. At 1346 hours, 33-1 Dude Cool requested Potsdam Fire to respond both tankers and manpower. At 1354 hours, Tanker 100 (J. Keleher) responded followed shortly after by Rescue 14 (Ju. McGregor) and Engine 80 (S. Corbett). While enroute, Engine 80 was advised to stand down and return to station.

On scene, the garage was found to be on the ground. Due to the long distance to the scene and location of the fire, Tanker 100 and Rescue 14 arrived at 1422 hours. Firefighters assisted Parishville Fire with overhaul and extinguishing the fire. Potsdam Fire was in service at 1521 hours.
