On Friday, June 26th 2020, at 1534 hours, Parishville Fire was dispatched to the vicinity of State Highway 72 and the Sinclair Road for an outside fire. At 1609 hours, Parishville Fire 33-1 (Dude Cool) requested Potsdam Fire with a tanker to the scene. At the time of alarm, 33-1 also requested manpower to respond to the scene.

Potsdam Fire Tanker 100 (S. Corbett) responded, followed shortly by Rescue 30 (J. Mason) and arrived on scene at 1634 hours. Firefighters worked with Parishville Fire, West Stockholm Fire, Colton Fire, and Hopkinton-Fort Jackson Fire to extinguish the large wild land fire. The dry conditions and the large area off the road made it difficult to extinguish the fire. Tanker 100 provided water to the mini-pumpers and UTV's that the other departments had on scene. Firefighters worked till dusk extinguishing hot spots. Potsdam Fire was in service at 2128 hours.
