On Tuesday, November 3rd 2020, at 0526 hours, Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and County Car 10 were dispatched to Sandstone Drive for a report of a motor vehicle accident on the bridge with airbag deployment. At 0526 hours, Potsdam Fire Engine 49 (M. Maroney) responded and arrived on scene at 0529 hours.

On scene, it was found that a red 2012 Nissan Pickup truck had lost control on ice. The operator of the vehicle reported that he was not injured and refused medical treatment. Engine 49 provided lighting for the scene and firefighters provided traffic control until Skippy's arrived for the tow. The investigation was completed by Potsdam Police. Potsdam Fire was in service at 0620 hours.
