On Thursday, May 27th 2021, at 2110 hours, Potsdam Fire, Hannawa Falls Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and County Car 10 were dispatched to a one vehicle roll over with unknown injuries. Shortly after the call, Central Dispatch advised the first responders that the subject was out of the vehicle. At 2112 hours, Engine 80 (B. Andrus) responded followed by Rescue 14 (S. Corbett) and arrived on scene at 2116 hours. Rescue 14 responded to the Sweeney Road and County Route 59 intersection for traffic control. Engine 80 provided scene lighting while the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department was conducting their investigation. Potsdam Rescue transported one patient to Canton-Potsdam Hospital. Firefighters washed debris off the roadway from the accident. Potsdam Fire was released from the scene by Hannawa Falls Fire. Potsdam Fire was in service at 2301 hours.
