On Monday, March 7th at 1006 hours, Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and County Car 10 were dispatched to the vicinity of 162 May Road for a reported car into a tree with unknown injuries. At 1007 hours, Engine 80 (J. Corbett) responded and arrived on scene at 1012 hours. On arrival, firefighters checked for injuries where it was found the operator and two children had self-extricated. The subjects that were involved were transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Potsdam Rescue. Firefighters provided traffic control and scene safety while the scene was investigated by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department. The vehicle was removed from the scene by Skippy's Towing. Potsdam Fire was in service at 1032 hours.
