On Monday, May 23rd 2022, at 1956 hours, Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and County Car 10 were dispatched for a reported two car motor vehicle accident with one person unable to get out with airbag deployment at the intersection of Sandstone Drive and Pine Street. At the time of alarm, Engine 49 chauffeured by Paid Driver Maroney responded and arrived on scene at 1958 hours. It was found on arrival, that all subjects were outside of their vehicles and had self extricated. Firefighters set up traffic control around the intersection to allow traffic to flow thru. The subjects were checked out by Potsdam Rescue and Canton Rescue but no patients were transported to the hospital. Firefighters soaked up fluids with speedy dry and removed the road hazards on scene. The vehicles were removed by Johnson's Towing. Potsdam Police were on scene and investigating the cause. Potsdam Fire was in service at 2040 hours.
