On Saturday morning at 0444 hours, Colton Fire, Pierrepont Fire, Colton Rescue, and County Car 36 were dispatched to the Racquette River Pub for a reported structure fire. The caller reportedly could see flames from the bar. Colton Fire Chief 5-1 then requested Parishville Fire all equipment and Potsdam Fire with tower to the scene. Colton Fire arrived on scene and confirmed a working fire. At 0457 hours, Tower 5 (J. Keleher) responded with a crew. While enroute, Colton Fire advised that they had the fire knocked down and requested Tower 5 to continue to the scene. Tower 5 arrived on scene at 0512 hours. Tower 5 on scene was used to make sure there was no extension into the roof of the structure. No extension was found and Tower 5 returned into service at 0613 hours.
