On January 16th, 2023 at 0804 Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and Car 10 were dispatched to a vehicle fire at Blevins Motors at 6691 State Highway 56. Immediately after dispatch Engine 49 chauffeured by Fire Driver Matthew Kroeger responded. Engine 49 arrived on scene at approximately 0810 to find a 2020 Jeep Compass fully engulfed in fire on the service side of the building, threatening other vehicles. Firefighters stretched a 200' 1 3/4" handline and extinguished the vehicle with little to no damage to the surrounding vehicles. TA-100 chauffeured by FF J. Bradish arrived shortly after to feed Engine 49. Potsdam Fire was back in service at 0855
