On Sunday, July 23rd 2023, at 0010 hours, Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and County Car 10 were dispatched to 57 O'Brien Road for a reported four wheeler accident. At 0015 hours, Engine 49 (M. Maroney) and Rescue 14 (M. Keleher) responded and arrived on scene at 0021 hours.

On scene, firefighters found a 2021 CANAM that had left the roadway and struck a tree. One occupant of the side by side had a knee injury. Firefighters assisted Potsdam Rescue with back boarding the patient from the side by side and transferring onto a stretcher. The patient was then transported to Canton-Potsdam Hospital by Potsdam Rescue. The scene was investigated by the St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Department. Potsdam Fire was in service at 0046 hours.
