On Monday, January 29th 2024, the long awaited new Rescue 14 , a 2023 Rosenbauer Commander was delivered to Potsdam Fire by Garrison Fire & Rescue Corp. This truck was constructed with an EXT extruded aluminum body, this apparatus features a Harrison 15Kw generator, a Command Light CL Series LED light tower, and a Bauer SCBA air fill system, and Hurst Edraulic tools. This apparatus replaced the old 1994 Rescue 14 which served our department well for many years. Members were eager for the delivery and began to train shortly after its delivery so it could be placed into service. The new Rescue 14 serves the department as a heavy rescue.
