On Wednesday October 8, 2025 at 6:12 PM. the Potsdam Fire Department was dispatched to a reported vehicle fire on US Highway 11. Engine 80 responded to find a vehicle on the shoulder of the road with fire in the engine compartment area. Engine 80's crew deployed a 1 3/4" handline and extinguished the fire. No injuries reported, Potsdam Fire was back in service at 7:48 PM.
