| At 12:35am, Potsdam Fire was dispatched to a structure fire at 114 B Smith Road. Dispatch relayed that the property was abandoned. 36-3 assumed incident command and requested West Potsdam Fire, Norwood Fire, West Stockholm Fire, and Canton Fire for tankers and manpower to assist on scene. Approximately 500 feet of large diameter hose was laid up the driveway from E-80. TA-100 set up at the roadway and provided water to Engine 80. Multiple lines were deployed and E-49 was used to fill Tankers at the nearest hydrant, located at Pine Street Arena. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries during this incident.
Potsdam Fire was back in service at 4:22am. |
