Small Fire at Clarkson University

At 4:00pm, Potsdam Fire was dispatched to a possible fire in Damon Hall, Clarkson University Downtown Campus. Upon arrival, our engine crew found a fire had occurred within a lab, related to an ongoing soil science experiment being conducted. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. No firefighter or civilian injuries were reported. Potsdam Fire was back in service at 5:00pm.
