| At 12:26 p.m., Potsdam Fire, Potsdam Rescue, and Car 10 were dispatched to a two car motor vehicle accident involving airbag deployment and unknown injuries. Upon arrival, Potsdam Fire blocked one lane and directed traffic to the adjacent lane and the shoulder of the road. Potsdam Rescue provided patient care at the scene, though no patients required transport. One vehicle was towed from the scene. Potsdam Fire returned to service at 1:05 p.m.
While clearing from the MVA, at 1:05pm, Potsdam Fire was notified of a fire alarm at SUNY Potsdam in the Barrington Student Union. The cause was determined to be burnt food. Potsdam Fire was back in service at 1:21pm.
At 1:27pm, Potsdam Fire was notified of a second fire alarm at SUNY Potsdam, in the Barrington Student Union. Potsdam Fire was back in service at 1:53pm. |
