At 1912 hours, Engine 49 ( Career Fire Driver J. Robar) responded. While responding, a portable advised it was a confirmed working fire. Engine 49 arrived on scene at 1913 hours and laid large diameter hose from the fire hydrant at Waverly Street and Broad Street to the scene for water supply. At 1916 hours, Engine 48 (Career Fire Driver M. Maroney) responded, followed shortly by Tower 5 (S. Keleher). 36-2 (M. Bradish) arrived on scene and assumed Command.
