On Saturday, September 27, 2025 members of the Potsdam, Canton, and West Potsdam Fire Departments gathered at Johnson's Towing for a day of training. Members trained on vehicle extrication, stabilization and lifting using air bags . A representative from Paratech attended the training to demonstrate some other useful equipment to help with these rescue situations. Members used air bags to lift a front end loader, and stabilized it using some jacks from paratech. Members used air bags to lift a 40 ft metal storage box, and then performed vehicle extrication by performing a roof roll, as well as a dash roll.
