Hi Potsdam,
Thanks for your excellent response to the Church fire here in Massena. You are a great bunch to work with. I was wondering if you could email me any pictures you may have from the fire and I will do the same. Thanks again for all of your hard work on Thursday. See you here in June for Convention.

Good Evening, It has been many years since in went to school at Clarkson. I used to hang out at the station between classes quite often. Back then (1970-1974) old Engine 48 and old Engine 80 were the front line rigs. The Peter Pirsch ladder truck was in service as well as the Seagrave shorty (E49). The village drivers then (if my memory is intact) were Charles Purvis, Dick Dibble, Bill Reed and Leonard Brothers. Your web site is pretty slick. Stop by an visit my department's site (http://www.nhvfc.org) Best regards, mike mcdonald

Hey guys (and ladies) - long time no see! I'm coming up to Potsdam this weekend and I'll be sure to stop in at the fire station. I was able join a volunteer fire dept. down here in Rochester but I can't lie - it's only half the fun Potsdam Fire was! Stay safe and see you in a couple days!

I'm originally from Massena, been doing Fire and EMS for 25 years, worked at Fort Drum Fire Dept. for 6 years. Just want to say keep up the good work and stay safe. Remember EVERYONE GOES HOME AFTER EVERY CALL.
Just looking at your site as one of our volunteers from the Bennington Fire Dept. is attending Clarkson Univ. and will be volunteering with the rescue squad while he is up north. I also believe that he is a mutual aid member of your department.
Good luck Kimo.

It has been an amazing ten years, looking back over the training, fires, wrecks, paperwork and mostly friendships. Potsdam Fire Dept. has been a cornerstone in the fire service in this area, with a strong roster and well trained firefighters. In my early years of the service I really did not notice that remarkable set of traits, and for me that was unfortunate. The help of Chris Taylor when I was a Green Chief was great, even though our respective dept's members did not see eye to eye. Moving to Parishville has been a god send to my evolution as a firefighter. Potsdam Fire and it's members working with Parishville as well as we do is what I would have liked to have seen ten years ago, where I was.
150 years of firefighting is a hell of a mile mark and something to be proud of I am waiting to see the rear mount engine in service, That will be another innovation brought north by Potsdam.
Thank you guys for all you have done for me and all you do for Potsdam
Thank you brothers for the great things you firefighters do for the community.
